Bio
Dr. Jared Sorber (PhD) is the founder of Cultural Curiosity, where he helps individuals and organizations develop the cultural intelligence needed to build relationships, navigate differences, and thrive across cultures. A researcher, educator, consultant, and certified Cultural Intelligence (CQ®) facilitator, Jared brings extensive experience in cross-cultural engagement, international missions, leadership development, and multicultural leadership. Jared has engaged with people and cultures in more than 25 countries around the world and, for over 25 years, has worked in an organization where he interacts weekly with people from more than 50 cultural backgrounds. These experiences inform his cross-cultural research, teaching, and consulting, equipping him to help individuals and organizations build meaningful relationships across cultural differences.
Jared holds a PhD in Social Research. His research has focused on cultural intelligence, multicultural organizations, and responding to racism. He teaches Cross-Cultural Dynamics and Global Ethics in Global Society to doctoral students at OMEGA Graduate School.
In addition to his CQ® certification (Cultural Intelligence Center), Jared is a Certified Human Rights Consultant through the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (USIDHR). Through Cultural Curiosity, he combines research, practical experience, and a passion for human dignity to help people and organizations build bridges across cultural differences and create more inclusive, effective, and connected communities.
